I help retail businesses make better technology decisions, and then I build them. I’ve spent over a decade on Shopify, Magento and custom integrations, always focused on what moves the business: conversion, operations, and the systems that connect them.
I started my career in agencies. I was a UI Engineer on SharePoint projects at Navantis, then moved to Totalamber. At Netstarter I moved into ecommerce, building Magento 1 and 2 stores. At Sprii DMCC I worked across Magento 2, React and Next.js alongside UX, SEO and product teams. At Kemana I specialised in Shopify and helped streamline how the team delivered Shopify projects.
Agency work taught me how to build well. Moving client-side taught me why it matters.
At Lincraft, one of Australia’s best-known craft and fabric retailers, I’m the sole technical lead. I’m responsible for development, SEO, analytics and ecommerce operations, and I’ve seen the business through its move from physical stores to online-only. I started the role remotely from Sri Lanka and relocated to Melbourne. I work directly with management on everything from platform integrations to new revenue channels.
Today my work sits where technology meets the P&L. That means deciding what to build and what to buy, what it will cost, what could go wrong, and what it should return.
I find where a store is losing money and fix it in order of impact. That includes funnel analysis, UX audits, benchmarking against competitors, and roadmaps tied to revenue rather than wish lists.
I connect ecommerce to the rest of the business: ERP, marketplaces, fulfilment and returns. I design integrations that are reliable, monitored, and maintainable by someone other than me.
I work across Shopify Plus, custom apps, Functions, checkout and customer account extensions, multi-market setups and themes. This is the hands-on depth behind every recommendation.
